The
Standards Portal (www.standardsportal.org)
is an online resource designed to facilitate trade through increased
transparency and engagement in standards, conformity assessment and technical
regulations (SCATR).
The
primary aim of the Standards Portal is to answer key questions asked by

- How can I get an “early
warning” on changes to the requirements of my target market?
- How can I ensure that my company’s perspectives are heard and considered
in the development of technical requirements and policies for my target market?
Currently, the Standards Portal includes
information on the following economies. Pages are color coded by economy and responsible organization:
StandardsPortal was developed by ANSI and is implemented in cooperation with the lead organizations outlined in the box above.
Financial support to develop and maintain StandardsPortal has been provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST),
a non-regulatory federal agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce.
